INNSIDE New York, Manhattan’s newest hotel, proudly announces the opening of its signature restaurant Impero Caffè from world renowned chef Scott Conant. Located on the hotel’s ground floor, the warm and inviting Italian restaurant brings an authentic and sensory dining experience to the bustling neighborhood.
Inspired by the Italian Sprezzatura, meaning “the art of making the elegant look simple,” Impero Caffè exudes an effortless sense of charm and sophistication – catering to savvy New Yorkers and world travelers seeking a relaxed yet stylish destination to savor comforting Italian fare among good company.
By morning, the space evokes the spirit of a traditional Italian coffeehouse where guests can enjoy an assortment of pastries, cappuccino and shots of espresso to start their day. Seamlessly transitioning to lunch and dinner service, the afternoon and evening menus feature a variety of antipasti and house made pastas for which Conant is known for and celebrated. Signature dishes include Hamachi Crudo with citrus, pistachio, ginger and controne chili; Burrata & Salsa Verde with fava beans and peas; Pasta al Pomodoro with Chef Conant’s signature ragu; and Cavatelli with braised duck and black truffle sugo. A selection of dishes are also available on the in-room dining menu so hotel guests can enjoy Scott Conant’s world-class cooking from the comfort of their room.
Conant also manages the hotel’s spacious lobby bar, which offers a separate menu of appetizers, pastas and desserts. A comprehensive beverage program features a rotating selection of classic and specialty cocktails in addition local draft and bottled beers, wine, champagne and spirits.
